Rev. Misty Johnson is a Non-denominational Minister who specializes in Historical Ceremonies. She has done extensive research on Historical Ceremonies & Vows. She has even written several ceremonies herself. She is Currently the Official Minister and wedding day director for the Big Bear City Renaissance Fair. Rev. Misty is pleased to minister your Wedding, Handfasting, Anniversary or Commitment ceremony in costume. She will be happy travel to your location. Rev. Misty Johnson has spent over 20 years studying Historical Eras and Weddings including Traditions, History, Religions, Myths and Superstitions. She is happy to perform your wedding in "Old English". She will create a perfect ceremony just for you with respect to your religion and historical views. Non-denominal, alterative-religious, Handfastings, Unions of Love and Commitment are some of the ceremonies available. Rev. Misty has been a member of the SCA- Society for Creative Anachronism for over 20 years and has been a past costume Chairman for the Riverside Dickens Festival. She has attended classes from ABC- Association of Bridal Consultants and has been The Head-costumer for DragonMarsh since it's opening in 1991. Your custom Wedding gown and Wedding Party attire will be designed by an award winning seamstress with over 25 years experience creating Historical costumes. Rev. Misty attended F.I.D.M. - Fashion Institute of Design And Merchandising and was a runner up in the Designer of Tomorrow contest. Some of the many places you may have seen her costumes are: S.C.A.- Society for Creative Anachronism & Adrian Empire events, The Riverside Downtown Wed. Night Wedding Fashion Show, The Riverside Dickens Festival, and The Orange Blossom Festival. One Of her Dresses was featured in the 2006 Wedding Issue of Renaissance Magazine. Her Costumes can be spotted at Many Renaissance Fairs such as: The Renaissance Pleasure Faire, The (former) Long Beach Renaissance Fair,The Big Bear City Renaissance Fair and many pirate fairs. She has designed and made many costumes/attire from a ball gown for a guest a G.Bush's Inaugural Ball to the Hollywood Fetish Ball! Misty's work includes first place winner of at the Opera Pacific Masquerade ball, various commercials and the movie "Prince of Darkness". She was featured in a articles in "Costume" magazine and the Riverside Press Enterprise Newspaper. You may also have seen her on Channel 5-KTLA News one Halloween or on the morning show.... Rev. Johnson is currently a columnist for Inland Insider magazine giving advice on weddings and other parties. This knowledge and much more enables Rev.
